About TPAC Tangipahoa Parish Animal Control (TPAC) - Public health, safety and animal protection are our goals. Our department enforces laws which protect both people and animals throughout Tangipahoa Parish. We encourage responsible, humane animal treatment through education as well as enforcement
Hours of Operation: The shelter is open to the public from 12 noon to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday
Tangipahoa Parish Animal Control 15487 Club Deluxe Road Hammond LA 70403

If you need information about pet adoption contact: tpac20@tangicouncil.com If you would like to help support TPAC please contact Friends of the Shelter
Donation at the Shelter Donations are routed through the Parish budget or through our support organization. Both funding avenues lead to us - the Parish budget tends to cover basics while auxiliary assists with such things as continuing education, equine rescue equipment, and other special needs items.
Items Needed By TPAC include:
- Blankets, towels & washcloths
- Pet shampoo
- Grooming aids: nail clipper, brushes and combs, shears, hairdryer
- Cat litter pans
- Folding chairs
Animal Control is also in need of a few good men – and women who have time to volunteer: Especially needed is someone with pet grooming skills to help give the shaggier animals a new clip and people to help with bathing the animals. Also needed is someone who can make minor repairs and replace hardware on the pet carriers that get a tremendous amount of use and must be continually maintained. Contact TPAC
